A BRIEF HISTORY
Originally constructed in 1964, our community started its life named "Harmony
Mobile Home Park". From 1964 until 1994 the
park matured under the ownership of several different parties
until it was purchased by the present owner. Because of its central location,
small size and great community setting, the new owner saw the property
as a true diamond. The diamond was a little rough, but he knew that with
a lot of hard work and TLC, that it could, as it does now, really shine.

FACILITY/PROPERTY
RENOVATIONS
Some, but not all of the renovations and refurbishments done by the new
owner are as follows:
- Over 50+ new or nearly
new homes will have been placed in the park with an additional 7 scheduled for the coming 12 months.
- All existing homes
have been upgraded with such items as new porches, awnings, skirting,
or siding. Other items that have been added are new sheds, paint, landscaping
and fences.
- A new playground
and new playground equipment have been installed.
- A new park work
area that includes a new office, storage/work shed and storage area
were constructed.
- A new manager's
home was installed.
- New signage was
installed throughout the park.
- New street lighting
and metal streetlight poles were installed though out the park.
- All exterior fencing
was either replaced or repaired and all fencing was slatted for privacy
in areas where others abut the park.
- All parking pads
that were deemed sub-standard were replaced.
- A complete new
water distribution system was installed in the park.
- The sewer system
was completely inspected and approximately 40% of the sewer system that
was believed to be questionable over the next 25 years was replaced.
- All park roads
were completely stripped of their entire old pavement and all new asphalt
was installed.

MANAGEMENT
Upgrading facilities is great but knowledgably, calm, cool and consistent
management plays just as big a role in creating a community atmosphere
that all who live there are proud to come home too. Marilee Valdes, Hidden
Glen resident manager, was recruited in 1994 and handles all administrative
and light maintenance duties in the community. Marilee's competent, knowledgable,
common sense answers and constant insistence on quality of the community
have gone a long way to make Hidden Glen what it is today. A great place
to live.
