A BRIEF HISTORY
Our
park was originally built in 1985 as an 85 home-site park with enough
acreage for an additional 85 home-sites. Town & Country has large home-sites,
minimum size is 50X100, is located on a very open 32 acres, and possesses
a small-town community feel. From 1985 to 1997 the park enjoyed several
different owners, when purchased by the present owner, Because of its
semi-rural location, the fact that the population is moving northward
along the Wasatch front, and the size and great feel of the park, the
new owner thought Town & Country was a true jewel. 40 new home-sites were
built starting in 1997 and totally completed as of 10/1/99. This made
Town & Country a 125 home-site community. As Town & Country matures and
fills, the present owner believes it will become the premier park in Northern
Utah. A major step toward that goal was achieved when Town & Country Estates was voted, by the UMHA (Utah Mobile Home Association), the #1 park in Utah for the year 2007.

FACILITY/PROPERTY
RENOVATIONS
Some, but not all of the renovations and refurbishments that have happened
since 1997 are as follows:
-
New street/stop/Town & Country main signs. This included a new park
diagram/location sign at the entrance of the park.
-
New paving and speed bumps in selected areas.
-
New playground equipment.
- New
playground configuration, landscaping & sprinkler system installed.
-
New cement sidewalks to some homes.
-
New cement storm drains in selected locations.
-
All trees throughout the park have been trimmed and 150 new trees have
been planted.
-
A new watering system for the common areas that takes water from the
irrigation canal. This insures that the common areas get as much water
as they need to remain green all summer long.
- All new signage throughout park.
- Completely rebuilt and repaived front entrance.
- Completely repaired and resealed all roadways within the park.
- Built all perimeter fencing to include the installation of privacy slats for added privacy and security of all Town & Country Residents.

MANAGEMENT
Upgrading facilities is great - but knowledgeable; consistent management
plays just as big a role in creating a community atmosphere that all
who live there are proud to come home too. Our park has two managers
that fit this role to a "T". Les Pebly is our resident administrative
manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge about everything from construction
to how to train racehorses, but most important he brings a strong understanding
of how to communicate effectively with people. You will find Les easy
to talk to as well as just a great guy to be around.
Jerry Richens is our resident maintenance manager. He keeps the park looking
great and the equipment running perfectly. He is also a pleasure to
talk to and is happy to help anyone who needs an extra hand.
